NCA/NDA MOVES THEIR CHEER AND DANCE ALL-STAR NATIONALS FROM DALLAS
HOLLA’! to Grambling State University (GSU) on the 2025 College Classic National Cheerleading Championship win. The HBCU college team from Grambling, Louisiana, repeated its National Championship accolades after becoming one of the first HBCU cheer teams to win a major national cheer championship in 2023. Led by Coaches Terrance Lilly and Assistant Cheer Coach Marcus Kennedy, the team continues to display consistency in cheerleading and athletic excellence as they prepare for their 2025-2026 season.

2025 NATIONAL CHEER CHAMPIONSHIPS
As GSU secured its spot in the history books, North Carolina A&T University became the back-to-back NCA/NDA College Nationals Champions held in Daytona Beach, Florida. Led by coaches Daniel Kearns-Pickett, Raelin Davis, and Kailey Brown, the NCAT Aggies cheer team scored their 2025 win with no deductions. Against ten Intermediate Small Coed Division I teams, NCAT's
repeat win displays how commitment, hard work, teamwork, and determination build their
success.
DIANNA WILLIAMS ANNOUNCES STEP BACK

Dianna Williams, who has built a dance empire with her Dancing Doll brand, has announced that she will be stepping back from the day-to-day operations of DD4L to support her son’s football aspirations. Cobe Williams has received several football offer options from Eastern Kentucky University, Georgia State University, the University of North Carolina in Charlotte, and more to come. In her social media post, Williams stated, “He’s worked hard, stayed focused, and now it’s his time — and I’m gonna be right there with him every step of the way.”
She assured her fans that DD4L remains strong and is here to stay. “The legacy continues. The team will keep dancing, training, and dominating just like always. We’re leveling up in NEW ways — just with me cheering a little more from the sidelines (and the football stands). This is about growth, balance, and legacy — mine, Cobe’s, and DD4L’s.”

USA CHEER DEVELOPS GUIDELINES ADDRESSING UNIFORMS AND DIVERSE BODY TYPES
USA Cheer released a statement addressing Body-Positive Uniform Guidelines for athletes. Acknowledged as the governing body of cheerleading in the US, USA Cheer has provided resources for coaches and parents to address aspects of the sport that “involve judges and form-fitting uniforms for safety, are at risk of negative body image, body dysmorphia, and eating disorders.”
The USA Cheer resources include help, tools, and guidance to help understand body image factors and how to avoid perpetrating stereotypes or demands that can reinforce negative body image and its consequences.

The 2026 - 2028 National Cheerleaders Association's (NCA) All-Star National Championships will take place at Houston's George R. Brown Convention Center and Toyota Center. The move was made due to the construction of the Kay Bailey Hutchison Center, which is expected to be completed by 2028.

A mass evacuation was implemented due to a brawl by adult spectators, which resulted in ten people sustaining minor injuries.
